February 22nd

It was the LAST class of AR&P!
I finished to create my google sites and presentation! I'm proud of myself.

I learned some useful tools with MAC computer, and now I kind of using it in other classes! Most of the things taught in this course were what I learned in the Rab's ARW class in autumn term, but it is nice chance to remember them and learn them deeper. Anyway, I enjoyed the classes! I am going to try not to forget all tools.

February 15th

We watched some videos and learned about copyright. I think it is very hard to care about copyright for everything such as music, photos, videos and so on. But still we have to make our works "Anyone with the link". Anyway, I have to be very careful with copyright. Also, I should not share others' link of websites or presentation movie because it would spread as a public. This is very serious and sensitive issue we always should keep in mind.

February 1st

We did some small group presentation in the beginning of the class. It is pretty hard to make eye-contact with every audiences. I spoke too fast, so I should be careful about that in the real presentation.
We learned how to use QuickTime and how to record our presentation. In other class, the teacher uses that skill for students who were absent and want to review. He records his slides and his voice, so we could see the real lecture in our home. So I was already familiar with it, but I didn't know how to do that, so this class was useful and now I could create my presentation with it. I've never thought this way of presentation. So it sounds very creative!! I'm looking forward to make presentation!

January 25th

In the class, Rab showed how to use several search engines on the internet. The most useful thing I thought is that when we search images on google search, we can choose size and color. When we create presentation and make slides, we should use images which is nice quality to be shown in the screen, so it is very nice to have opportunity to choose size of images. Also, it is useful that we can search by images. For example, when I forget where did I get the image from (it is sometimes happen actually...), I can search by that image and find where I got it. It is very important to cite where did images come from to avoid plagiarism.
Rab also showed Grammarly. I knew about Grammarly and already use it. I think it is very nice tool to find grammar mistakes, but I think I do not need to follow every suggestion Grammarly make. Still, it is very valuable tool, because lots of grammar mistakes make teacher unhappy and make our grade worth.

January 11th

In the class, I learned more about google sites and how to use zotero properly. I had had Rab as my ARW teacher in autumn term, so I learned about zotero and Rab recommend us to use it when we work on citation or bibliography. However, I heard that some teacher did not suggest using zotero. I think zotero is a very useful tool, but sometimes it has a problem or I have not enough knowledge to use it. Therefore, when I write citation or works cited, I will double check them with Little Brown handbook. Also, I heard about "EasyBib" from one of my friend. It is also the internet tool which help to create bibliography. So, I will try to use it and see how it works.

Dec. 21st

We learned "google sites" which we can create own websites. It was very interesting that I can put anything such as text, picture, and even the youtube movie on my website and everyone can see my work.
I haven't known that I can create websites very easily! I thought it takes many time and needs special knowledge. However, on the google sites, I can change color, font, and style. It is very easy and nice. I should designed my website which reflects some essence of my essay topic.

Whatever, I need to understand my topic clearly to explain it to everyone using website. I need to do research by using the web and get more information.

Dec. 14th

The most interesting thing in the class was "the flash video downloader" and "awesome screenshot". When I have presentation and want to show some video clip from YouTube, I do not need to go to safari or Firefox anymore, I can just download and paste into my google presentation.
